A fair review – pros and cons
The staff were outstanding and created a warm family feel. The breakfast was lovely, and the pool area was a clean, inviting spot to relax.
Some rooms felt old-fashioned and dated. Public transport options were limited, making access to nearby attractions challenging without a car.

We enjoyed the lovely dinner with homemade gnocchi and the fabulous pool area. The only downside was our room’s dated decor. We will definitely come back!

Though the room was decent, it felt a bit old-fashioned and the noise from the nearby road could be bothersome for light sleepers. Limited public transport options made it a challenge to explore the surrounding area without a car, leaving our adventures somewhat restrained.

Clean and spacious rooms with a nice outdoor sitting area. Staff are welcoming and provide excellent service, contributing to a family-like atmosphere. The substantial breakfast offers a variety of options, alongside delightful local delicacies. Additionally, the amenities include a full restaurant that serves excellent Tuscan cuisine and the option to sample and purchase wines from their own vineyard.
Some room decor feels dated.

Staying at Villa Ambra was a delightful experience. The location provided a tranquil escape just 10 minutes from Montepulciano. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with beautiful, well-kept surroundings. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of local delicacies, ensuring a great start to each day. I loved the swimming pool area, which had ample space to relax. However, there needed to be more shade by the pool. I wish there had been more umbrellas to shield from the sun. The restaurant served excellent Tuscan dishes, and I appreciated the option to have dinner outdoors. The staff offered useful advice about local attractions, enhancing our stay. Limited public transport options made getting around challenging without a car, but we managed to explore several wonderful nearby towns.

Cozy vibes and tasty food
Had a super chill stay for 2 nights. The staff made us feel right at home, even bringing us some local wine to try! The breakfast spread was awesome, especially the fresh pastries. Just wished the room could've used a little updating. The pool was a fab spot to unwind after a long day exploring.
